Celebrating Diwali- MSPM way!

Last week, my house in Pittsburgh was filled with lights, love, and laughter as the MSPM batch came together to celebrate Diwali, the Indian festival of lights. Considered one of the biggest holidays in India, this festival celebrates the triumph of good over evil. It is the time of the year to deck your home, […]

My Journey to Consulting

Whenever someone asked me what I wanted to do for a career, I always had the same answer. Solve a variety of problems, in a variety of ways, using a variety of methods. Sounds good, right? But finding out what career path would allow me to do that was the hard part. When I arrived […]

Lessons From a Busy Junior Year

Today was my last day interning in communications and marketing at the National Women’s History Museum, and I’m truly thankful I’ve been able to combine my majors in business and history to do meaningful work this academic year. I almost can’t believe that nine months ago, I almost didn’t apply to this position because I […]

Recruiting while Working while Going to School

I often joke that I don’t know what “hobbies” are now that I’m in school part-time while working full time. Perhaps you have a point; it’s been only a week since I last posted on Tepper’s blog and started my internship with TurnUp Activism. But already, I’ve gathered some thoughts that I hope are worth sharing. So what exactly […]

I recently made a blog post here saying that I would be taking a leave of absence this fall. There’s a bit of time until the leave actually begins, but I’ve begun to take on projects and establish a plan for the semester: Webtoons In the spirit of saving the best for last, let’s start with […]

Summer Plans Amidst Covid-19

2020 – what a year it has been so far. Unlike the Roaring Twenties, a hundred years ago, which is defined as a decade of economic growth and prosperity largely driven by wartime recovery, we are starting the 20s of this century off with great uncertainty.

Internship at BGC Partners

During my freshman year, I looked for internships to apply what I had learned and gain real-life experience in the workforce. Luckily, I received an offer from BGC Partners, a leading financial services company and readily accepted it.

Summer Internship @ Genentech

Hello past/current/future/potential Tepperonians, I’ve volunteered to become a Tepper blogger for several reasons a) I love to write about my experiences and opinions. This is evident in my years of Yelp Elite status where I’ve written over 300 reviews on the platform. b) I had a great internship experience and would love to share it […]
