What does it mean to be on your MBA journey?

Hello everyone, The fact that I started writing this blogpost roughly a month ago, but am posting it right now should be an indicator of how much happening your life at Tepper can get, during your MBA. And if you think, this is just because of studying and recruiting, think again. Every day, you’ll basically […]

Celebrating Diwali- MSPM way!

Last week, my house in Pittsburgh was filled with lights, love, and laughter as the MSPM batch came together to celebrate Diwali, the Indian festival of lights. Considered one of the biggest holidays in India, this festival celebrates the triumph of good over evil. It is the time of the year to deck your home, […]

Unity and Allyship in Leadership

Being a student at Tepper has certainly been an adventure. I’ve learned so much, and met so many new people. I have had so many wonderful opportunities to apply what we are learning in class. This past January, I competed with a team in the Inaugural John Lewis Racial Case Study. I’ll admit I was […]

Tips for COD & TTO Students

Last month, I had the exciting opportunity to host two students for Celebration of Diversity Weekend. When I was a prospective student, I also visited CMU through these weekend programs, which they have at several times throughout the year. Coming Out Stories, a Celebration of LGBT Journeys at Tepper

When you think of October, perhaps you think about the arrival of fall, the superfluity of pumpkin flavored foods, or the thrill of Halloween. ROMBA Case Competition Experience

What do the words “business school” make you think of? If you’re in the throes of application, it may be “GMAT,” “letter of recommendation,” or “interviews.” Once you’ve started your MBA journey, though, you find a different set of words: “homework,” “bar night,” “treks,” “career fair,” and the famous “case competition.” Four members of Out&Allied combined career fair and case competition by competing in the Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) Liberty Mutual case competition in early October.
