Tepper prides itself on offering its students a holistic business education, one that is at the forefront of innovation. I am lucky enough to attend a business school that is truly interdisciplinary and intertwines aspects of business, technology, and society into its analytical approach to problem solving.
About Sonali Gupta | Undergraduate Business 2021
Sonali is a rising senior at the Tepper School of Business majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Business Technology, as well as a minor in Global Systems and Management. She was born in Cupertino, CA and moved to Vancouver, BC when she was 12. Despite having lived on the west coast for her entire life, she chose to move to Pittsburgh to pursue an undergraduate business education at Carnegie Mellon because of the opportunity to complement her soft skills with more technical, quantitative problem-solving skills. Outside of the classroom, Sonali enjoys reading, building puzzles, figure skating, hiking, and cooking.
2020 – what a year it has been so far. Unlike the Roaring Twenties, a hundred years ago, which is defined as a decade of economic growth and prosperity largely driven by wartime recovery, we are starting the 20s of this century off with great uncertainty.
