About Jackie Wu | Undergraduate Business 2022
Jackie is a rising senior interested in social media marketing and many kinds of American history. Though she grew up in the Philly area and will passionately defend Wawa in any debate over the best convenience store chain in Pennsylvania, she appreciates Pittsburgh for its willingness to put fries on everything. In her free time, she can probably be found wandering through museums, talking about random local history, or trying to work on several half-finished crochet projects at once.
Though I’m not in the School of Drama, I’ve starred in a wide range of theater productions. My resume features roles in Hamlet and As You Like It, adaptations of childhood favorites like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and more. Casting directors have been begging me for years to star in the new Batman movie, but I’m so committed to my Carnegie Mellon education that I’ve turned them all down.
Hi there! I’m Jackie, a 20-year-old junior studying a word salad of programs—my primary major is business administration, but I have an additional major in social and political history and a minor in politics and public policy as well. I’m currently in DC interning part-time at the National Women’s History Museum while doing the Washington Semester Program through CMU’s Institute for Politics and Strategy.
