Diwali @ Tepper

This past Saturday held the biggest event presented each year by South Asian Business Association (SABA) — Diwali. The event is hosted by three first year emcees and consists of great Indian food, fashion show, Bollywood and Bhangra dances by your classmates, and lots of fun! Everyone dresses up in traditional Indian clothing and just immerse themselves in the culture.

I personally was involved in two of the several dances that was performed. Below is a picture of our successful Bhangra dance with our fearless leader Bharat (in the red vest) in the middle.

After all the programming, the dance floor was open to all, and I’ve got to say, the South Asians know how to dance and party!!
