Tepper PhD Student INFORMS Award & Honorable Mention

2018 INFORMS Award & Honorable Mention were recently given to two of our Tepper PhD students!

Operations Research PhD student Nam Ho-Ngyuen received Honorable Mention at the INFORMS Optimization Society Best Student Paper Prize for the paper “Online First-Order Framework for Robust Convex Optimization” (Other authors: Fatma Kilinc-Karzan).

Operations Management PhD student Neda Mirzaeian received Judith Leibman Award for her service for the INFORMS CMU Student Chapter.

Administrative Coordinator, Ph.D. Student Services at Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University
Laila joined the Tepper School in 2016. She holds a degree in psychology and has a background in higher education administration. Laila spends her free time rock climbing, reading, and spending time with her husband and two dogs - an Alaskan Malamute and a Pug.
