GSA/Provost Conference Funding Deadline on February 21
Applications for the GSA/Provost Office Conference Funding are due by Wednesday, February 21st. This round of funding covers conferences that fall between 4/1/18 – 6/30/18. Go here for more information and to apply. This award amount is $500 per student with a maximum amount of $1,000 per group. Awardees are selected through a lottery process on a quarterly basis.
This process is open to an individual, group or members of a recognized club or organization who are currently enrolled and will be enrolled through the funded conference who is/are planning to attend or present at a conference. If three or more applicants are planning to attend the same conference they should apply as a group by indicating the group members in their application or the applicants will be placed in a group during the application review process. You do not need to be presenting to request support. A graduate student is eligible for conference funding one time in each fiscal year (July 1 to June 31) they are a graduate student.
Conference funding is provided by the Graduate Student Assembly and the Provost’s Office and managed by the Office of the Assistant Vice Provost for Graduate Education. Note that only completed applications received by the deadline, including your advisor’s supporting information, will be considered for review.
