A night out at the Warhol

One of the best parts about being part of the Tepper community is also being part of the broader CMU community.  Every fall and spring semester, the Graduate Student Association (GSA) hosts an event for students to celebrate the end of the semester and mingle with other graduate students in a cool venue.

This past Saturday, the GSA hosted their fall event at the Andy Warhol museum.  A group of my Tepper classmates and I decided to go and see the Warhol afterhours.  The GSA provided transportation to and from the venue back to campus, offered a variety of food and beverages, and hired a killer DJ (shout-out DJ FEMI).   Once we entered the museum, we were given our drink tickets and a map of the venue.  There were so many activities for us to do, including screen-printing, photo-booths, and a scavenger hunt among other things.

The event was so much fun and I definitely would recommend for everyone to attend at least one of the GSA events.  They hold a Wine Tasting event at the PPG Aquarium in the spring, which is always a blast.
