Carnegie Mellon DoubleTree Invitational Tournament

This past Thanksgiving weekend, the Carnegie Mellon Basketball team hosted their annual DoubleTree Invitational tournament. Chatham University, Baruch College, University of Mary Washington, and Carnegie Mellon University competed for first place. On Saturday, Baruch played Mary Washington and Chatham played Carnegie Mellon for a spot in the championship game. We ended up beating Chatham 80-53 and Mary Washington defeated Baruch 69-54. In the championship game on Sunday, the Carnegie Mellon Tartans defeated the undefeated Mary Washington Eagles 83-65. We came out this weekend with two more wins under our belt and are now 3-1. Ryan Maha and I earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team and Colin McNeil was the tournament MVP. Our next game is Wednesday at home against Allegheny College at 8 pm. Come and show us support!
